About Us

Established in 1993, Play Radnor is a small charity based in Llandrindod Wells, Powys.

We provide inclusive play, leisure and recreational opportunities for children and young people across Powys, particularly those who may be disadvantaged due to social and economic circumstances.

Through high-quality play provision and community partnerships, we support children, young people and families to connect, grow and thrive.

Our Aims

1. Meeting Local Needs

To provide a wide range of projects that meet the changing needs of children and young people, while ensuring their welfare and safety in all our work

2. Reaching Rural Communities

To help counteract the effects of rural isolation through our Toy Library service and outreach community projects

3. Supporting Growth and Development

To support and enable staff, volunteers and parents to access opportunities for their own learning and development

4. Strengthening Community Connections

To act as an umbrella organisation by sharing information, experiences, ideas, resources and by signposting to relevant agencies
