Thumbs Up Youth Club provides a welcoming and supportive space for young people with additional needs to relax, socialise and build friendships.

Sessions include a mix of activities such as games, creative projects, cooking and groups activities designed to encourage independence and confidence. Young people are supported to explore new interests and develop social skills in a safe environment. Holiday outings and special trips are occassionally organised.

Throughout the year we invite external organisations to introduce opportunities such as disability sport and community activities. Some members have gone on to wider groups and experiences as part of their transition toward adulthood.

Unlike with our Thumbs Up Club for 5-11 year-olds, our 11-18 year-old Club does not require parents or carers to remain during sessions.
